| 説明 | Busker Festival, Downtown Lawrence August 24, 2008Loving the XTi so far! Not to mention how wide open you can get this 50mm f/1.8 lens! It's not the absolute sharpest, and it's doesn't yield the best colors, but it's a lens for less than $100!!! Not to mention the low-light/narrow-DOF ability that f/1.8 gives you. And the color and sharpness can be corrected with CS2.The only downside of the lens is that you have to be SPOT-ON with your focus point if you need to take a picture quickly. The depth-of-field when the lens is all the way open is maybe three or four inches. In this case it goes from her glasses and just includes all of her left eye. The bokeh begins at her nose! If you aren't spot-on, the portion of the photo that you wished was in focus when you took it might just end up too blurry for you to save with an Unsharp Mask.Thanks for all the comments that some of you have been leaving! It's always nice to know people enjoy your shots enough to give you a holla. ;D |
