| 説明 | February 3rd - Day 34Tunes: 'Stand By Me' by Oasis (goo.gl/f1mp8)Today went snowboarding with some Liferay folks. Left at 5:30AM from Liferay and made it up to Big Bear by 7AM. Filled our bellies with McDonalds, got free parking, machine waxed our boards, and were the first ones up the lifts. Did two easy runs to warm up then headed west to chair 7 where we spent the morning. It was fun hanging out and snowboarding with everyone. Conditions weren't too bad at 10AM, but they quickly got worse the closer we got to noon. We did a total of 8 runs before stopping at noon to eat lunch. We decided to call it after lunch because it was getting really hot. Our last run before lunch, the snow was already becoming slushy.We headed down the mountain at around 2PM. When we were about 10 minutes from the 210 traffic came to a halt. There was an accident on the 330 that left us stuck in traffic for the next hour. We finally made it down and back to Liferay at 4PM. As far as snowboarding tradition goes, we always eat KBBQ after. Only person who was down was Bchiu. We spent the next two hours eating and catching up. It was such a good time sharing about what's been going in our lives.It's now 8:30PM and we're ready for bed. |
