| 説明 | University Circle United Methodist Church in Cleveland, Ohio. Often referred to as "The Holy Oil Can Church", it was built by the Epworth-Euclid Methodist Church (which formed from the merger of two prior congregations in 1919). Bertram Grosvenor Goodhue was commissioned to design the church, but he died after completing only some basic design sketches. The building was designed by staff architects at Goodhue's firm in association with the firm of Walker & Weeks. Construction began in 1926 and was completed in 1928. |
