| 説明 | The construction of a bypass road across the Colorado River was given a greater priority after 9/11. Since vehicle traffic currently passes across the top of the Hoover Dam, it is a potential security risk to the Dam. The bypass road will eliminate the need for the public to cross the Dam. This picture shows the bypass bridge under construction. It and the bypass road will be completed sometime in 2010. |
