| 説明 | A. Started in St Peters, MO on Wed, 30 July 2008. 225 miles.Rode in the rain to Kansas City and stayed on I-70 because of the weather. Overnighted with Brandon, Diana, Braden and Mitchell. B. Started in Kansas City, MO and rode to Nebraska. 500 miles.Left at about 6 am in the misty morning fog and was wet until just before the Iowa border. At Offutt AFB I saw one of the E-4 aircraft doing touch-and-go exercises. Thought of Dad. Crossed into Nebraska on 370 and cruised around Papillion. Took the remote route on 275 and US 20 to Valentine.C. Started in Valentine, NE on Friday, 1 August, and rode to Hill City. 240 miles.Between Valentine and Chadron is a lonely road. I was surprised at how abruptly the Black Hills appear on the horizon. |
