| 説明 | ORISKANY, N.Y.-- New York National Guard troops of the Region II Homeland Response Force (HRF) conduct a mock rescue utilizing rappelling equipment during their training and validation exercise at the New York State Preparedness Center here on June 17, 2016. A regional disaster-response force of National Guard Soldiers and Airmen, the HRF certified their readiness by successfully completing the weeklong exercise with Department of Defense experts and observers here. The HRF is one of ten established by the Department of Defense to serve as a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and High Explosive (CBRN) Consequence Management Response force. The force is led by a command post made up 42nd Infantry Division members, and includes troops from across the state, with units from New York City, the Hudson Valley, Capital Region as well as New Jersey Army National Guard.
