| 説明 | Our daughter and her family found this hawk last night and called me. I went and got it (very carefully) and am now waiting to hand it off to another rehabber that deals with raptors. I don't do anything that eats live anything. It's ironic that we're helping the predator that we want to keep away from our rehabbers. It's a living thing and that's all that counts right now. It sure is a gorgeous bird. Update: This hawk went to a wildlife rescue center and it did have a broken wing. It was treated and we talked to the rehabber last weekend and she said she thought it has a real good chance of surviving. It definitely got the best care it could. It now lives in New York where it got special medical care it needed. |
