| 説明 | Maison Blanche | Place d'ItalieInitially, the site was to host the Tour Apogée, part of the "Italie13" urban project. But soon, the idea to have a skyscraper on the site was abandonned.The Gaumont Grand Ecran Italie, a huge cinema complex, was an urban planning project designed in 1988 by the municipality in order to revitalize the sector around a pole dedicated to broadcasting.Arch. Kenzo Tange, Michel Macary and Xavier Menu1989-92.Its operation was brutally interrupted in January 2006 by the group EuroPalaces. The building also hosts a shopping mall called Italie 2, the former Galaxie Shopping Centre. |
