| 説明 | Chatsworth House is the home of the Dukes of Devonshire. It was first built by Sir William Cavendish and his wife, Bess of Hardwick, beginning in 1553. The fourth Earl (later first Duke) of Devonshire built the main part of the house, beginning in 1687. The sixth Duke of Devonshire built the north wing (right, with tower), which was completed in 1840. Chatsworth House is near Bakewell, in Derbyshire. |
