| 説明 | Because the color is somewhat distracting, this is a grayscale version of just the infrared data. I think the structure is most clearly visible in this single channel, monotone version.Note at the nucleus of the nebula are some extra rings or arcs that are quite difficult to see in the color version.I removed the diffraction spikes once again because they were very distracting and easy to confuse with the structure of the object.Data from following proposal was used to create the image:Characterization of the WFC3 IR GrismsThe filter represented here is WFC3/IR F140WNorth is up. |
