説明 | Aphyllon cooperi (desert broomrape)After much deliberation I initially had these tagged as A. tuberosum, but now I think they are probably A. cooperi. I can't recall Adenostoma being common at this site (which would suggest tuberosum), but there was a lot of Asteraceae present, including Artemisia, Ambrosia (Hymenoclea), and Ericameria (Chrysothamnus), and from what I've read and seen elsewhere, Ambrosia is a frequent host of A. cooperi. |
