| 説明 | Common in typically open grassy vegetation on slopes in the mountains and flowering during the spring. The hirsute leaves and stems are diagnostic. The linear fruits that are round in cross-section apparently distinguish Arabis from Boechera, the latter of which has flattened linear fruits (siliques). At treeline and above in this area, plants become less hairy and slightly more succulent and are sometimes referred to as Arabis bridgeri. This open understory site lies along the Bridge ridge just above the College M, Bridger Range, Gallatin County, Montana. |
