| 説明 | It seems everyone photographs the OTHER side of this sign which reads "TUCSON". Once called Miracle Mile, this section of city roadway was later changed to North Oracle Road. It was the first divided roadway in Arizona when it was built in 1937. At the time, the new divided road concept was thought to be a major development in reducing accidents, and for that reason, proponents dubbed it--"Miracle Mile of Safety"--later shortened to simply Miracle Mile. |
