| 説明 | Hiking in the Cascades, down from Mt Index. The Cascades are full of "nurse stumps" like this one. Red cedar trees were logged almost everywhere, and now often have new trees growing out of their stumps. Often the springboard notches cut by the loggers are still visible, though I can't see one in this photo.. though maybe in the lower right... |
