My photos are FREE to use, just give me credit and it would be nice if you let me know, thanks.On this site the original St. Paul’s Anglican Church that was consecrated on August 10, 1853. The original church was hit by lightning and destroyed in 1942. This church was rebuilt in one year and debt free. It was opened for worship on November 17. 1943.In 1868 St. Paul’s welcomed their first resident Priest, the Rev. W. Ancient, who is remembered for his valiant effort in the rescue of passengers of the S.S. Atlantic. Many of the dead are buried in the St. Paul’s Cemetery and in the Star of the Sea, Roman Catholic Cemetery. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------I am doing a book(s) on Nova Scotia, some pictures are just part of a story and may not be that great. |
