| 説明 | "Proclamation" by Rowan Gillespie is a permanent outdoor sculpture honouring the leaders of the Easter Rising, and the authors of the Irish proclamation of Independence. It stands across the road from the notorious Kilmainham Gaol where the seven proclamation scribes were executed in 1916. The original commission was for the seven signatories of the Proclamation but Gillespie donated the other seven martyrs to the site himself. |
