| 説明 | Nolina parryi—Parry's nolina. It's a value judgement, to be sure, but Nolina parryi surely has the most spectacular inflorescence of any of the nolinas. The species is found in the Transverse and Peninular Ranges as well as the desert mountains of Southern California. Long regarded as subspecies Wolfii this taxa has now been subsumed in N. parryi and the coastal forms once known as N. parryi ssp. parryi have been renamed as Nolina cismontana. Monrovia nursery says the N. parryi takes about 35 years to bloom—these plants have been in Regional Parks Botanic Garden since 1966. Photographed at Regional Parks Botanic Garden located in Tilden Regional Park near Berkeley, CA. |
