| 説明 | Gruffalo visits Hazelbank communityThere was much excitement in Hazelbank on Friday as young and old welcomed a special visitor to Inchview. One of author Julia Donaldson’s most famous characters, the Gruffalo joined the children and their families in who won the visit in a competition organised by The Big Lunch, UK annual get together for neighbours with support from Magic Light pictures. Margaret Cunningham said, “We have been hosting a Big Lunch annually in Farland Way with support from Habinteg Housing and the Cosy Club and were delighted to welcome the Gruffalo to Inchview to share the fun of The Big Lunch and help us prepare for this year when we will have the theme Fairytale in a Farland (a)Way! Special thanks to Frank Rafferty and Danny Mc Namee for bringing the story to life for us and to Ellen Hastings and Ann McElholm – Derry complimentary therapists who shared information about their child reflexology services.Bringing all ages together is so important to maintain and encourage community spirit and respect in the community . We have vibrant community spirit here and we would like to thank the Gruffalo for visiting and helping us get ready for the Big Lunch to our neck of the woods.” The main Big Lunch date for this year is 12th June, but this date is flexible and can be changed to fit in with local events.
