| 説明 | Middlesex Filter Beds, Hackney, London. The nature reserve now attracts wildlife normally uncommon in an area so close to central London - over 60 species of birds can be found. Open water, damp sandy areas and brickwork provide shelter for frogs, newts and toads. It's a stopping off point for migratory birds in the Lee Valley, and many insects are also found, such as damselflies and dragonflies.GOC Hertfordshire's walk on 19 September 2015, which was a repeat of the February 2015 walk when I did not take my camera. It went from Walthamstow to Stratford via Lea Bridge and Victoria Park, all in London. John T was the walk leader and it was 9.1 miles.
