Nemours is a du Pont family name. The interior is lavish and beautiful, the gardens formal and stunning.. Du Pont is the third largest chemical country in the world with 60,000 employees and over US$40 billion of assets. Du Pont has always invested in innovation and they developed synthetic rubber in the 1920s and eventually Teflon, Dacron, Lycra and materials for space programs. They have 90 plants around the world with one in Wilmington, its headquarters that employs about 1,000 people. |
