| 説明 | The comedy of errors that went into yielding this photograph is nothing short of impressive.1) It's from a roll of XP2(!!!) that expired in 1998(!!!).2) It was developed in D-76 at 1+1 dilution, I thought - but I misread my beaker and accidentally used 150mL water and only 50mL developer. That's 1+3 dilution, and not even enough solution to actually cover the whole roll in the tank.3) When I first pulled it out of the tank, it looked completely blank, so I literally tossed it in the trash; about ten minutes later I came to my senses and pulled it out to hang it up, just in case.4) The negs are stupid thin; only about 6 photos out of 24 were actually visible at all, and this one was the best-exposed by far. They're so thin that changing the curve of the scan to make it recognizable accentuated the defects in the paper backing in my lightbox, which is why it looks so mottled.This photo is awful. I absolutely adore it.Ilford XP2 expired 1998, in D-76 (in theory). Vivitar PN2011. |
