| 説明 | Native, warm season, perennial, loosely tufted grass; stems grow to 90 cm tall and arising from a slender rhizome. Leaf blades are 3–10 mm wide, hairless and rough to the touch. Flowerheads are erect, dense, ovate to oblong panicles 25–65 mm long and 20–40 mm wide (including awns). Spikelets 1-flowered and 4.5–7 mm long; glumes are acuminate to acute, with hairy keels; lemma is shorter or longer than glumes, 4–5 mm long, bi-lobed; lobes are bristle-like and 2–2.5 mm long; callus is densely bearded; awn is rigid and 8–30 mm long. Flowers in spring and summer. Occurs in open areas in forest, often on creek banks and in damp sites. |
