| 説明 | I love Tokyo so much. It's a giant whirling metropolis, an insane agglomeration of nooks and crannies in which anything and everything can hide, fester and grow calm. A giant clam that sucks in every other culture in the world, chews it up, and spits out a recombined and mutated and improved and involuted version. Simutaneously glossy and dilapidated, safe and dangerous. And most of all I love Shibuya, where oceans of insanely dressed-up people parade and mill and ride fixed-gear bicycles to who know what avant-garde assignations, and dozens of giant screens blast technicolor static into the infinite now of regression, and porno pachinko parlors back up against punk rock diamond markets, and down in the basement Drew and I prowled around a shop called "Dog Unleashed by Milk Boy," our mouths open in baffled wonder. |
