| 説明 | This display contains images of eight martyrs, executed in Zhazidong Prison in November, 1949.They are as follows:Li Qinglin (1914-1949), from Sichuan province, joined the Party in 1939. She was arrested in June 1948 and was killed on November 14th, 1949.Zhu Shijun (1921-1949), from Chongqing, was arrested in June 1938. She died in Zhazidong gaol on November 27th, 1949.Ma Xiuying (1923-1949), from Chonqing, joined the Party in 1948. She was arrested in January 1949 and was killed on November 27th, 1949.Li Huiming (1920-1949), from Sichuan province, joined the Party in 1938. She was arrested in April 1949 and was killed on November 27th, 1949.Luo Juanhua (1925-1949), from Sichuan province, was arrested in Chengdu in March 1949 and was killed on November 27th, 1949.Zhang Jingfang (1912-1949), from Sichuan province, joined the Party in 1939. She was arrested in June 1949 and was killed on November 27th, 1949.Peng Chanbi (1918-1949), from Chongqing was arrested in August 1948. She had a baby in gaol, named "Sophia" by the inmates. She was killed, with her daughter, on November 27th, 1949.Zuo Shaoying (1919-1949), from Chongqing, joined the Party in 1938. She was arrested in 1948 while she was pregnant. She gave birth to a baby girl in the gaol and named her "flower of the gaol". She was killed on November 27th, 1949. |
