| 説明 | Take a look at the original size to get the impact of the shot. Honapu, Kauai, on the Na Pali coast. A silly Japanese commercial for drinking water. The key grip from LA had an alcoholic seizure at the base of this cliff. It took over two hours to airlift him out because we didn't have a radio, or a helicopter. We also had no medic. We signalled passing tour choppers with mirror boards and SOS signs made with 2 x 4's. Kauai Fire/Rescue didn't understand we needed an airlift; it took a second call to them to send a chopper. He had another seizure on the way in. After that we had a chopper and pilot on the ground, standing by. The pilot had a grin that wouldn't stop. $400 or so an hour, to read a newspaper all day, for four days. |
