| 説明 | Again with the lack of focus. This is my worst one yet.Anyway, if you've never seen a Tsai film, you don't know what you're missing. Then again, I am hard-pressed to articulate what it is about his work that I like. He puts a camera down and turns it on. There is very little dialogue and no music (unless someone is performing something on screen--he's created a couple of films that could be construed as musicals--or a radio happens to be on). Any narrative that exists was probably written on a cocktail napkin. And there's some weird, often unsettling things happening. I'm a fan. |
