John Nichols, the adjutant general for Texas, greets Chilean military ambassadors at the Texas Military Department's Best Warrior Competition, Feb. 6, 2016, at Camp Swift in Bastrop, Texas. Traditionally a joint event between Texas Army and Air National Guardsmen, this year the BWC invited competitors from the U.S. Army Reserve component and the Chilean Army and Navy. The competition was a three day event that tested the aptitude of each competitor through grueling several events relevant to today's operating enviroment.
