| 説明 | This half flattened oil vat is perhaps 50 feet high. Half of it melted. The designs of the liquifying metal are quite remarkable, as you can see. In the foreground, the whiteness is ash. (Background: Three Israeli missiles blasted a massive electricity and oil complex 23 km south of Beirut on July 14. Flames and thick, toxic smoke filled the air for days and tens of thousands of tons of crude oil poured into the Mediterranean. The fire destroyed much of the complex, transforming giant oil containers into ashen forms that resemble modern art.) |
