Since that time, he has made it his mission to draw attention to himself in any way he can. Mainly by his claims of being a pop star, poet and, more recently, an author.In order to substantiate these claims he has written, recorded and performed a large number of pop songs, produced two volumes of poetry and published a book, “Sixty Odd Songs” containing a number of lyrics and stories about them. Which begs the question: Do these actions make him a pop star, poet and author, even if they are largely ignored?Does a falling tree make a sound if no one is there to hear it?Take “Sixty Odd Songs’ for example. he claims that it is an “International Bestseller” when in fact it made number 755 in the UK Amazon book charts for about an hour one Sunday morning, and he has sold one copy in America.Having said that. one reviewer has stated that he is a very nice , funny, intelligent and down to earth bloke. So if you like reading stuff by people like that, you might be interested in giving him a try.In fact you already have. he is writing this, in the third person. A common practice in the authoring community, apparently. |
