| 説明 | Friday afternoon, March 7, 2008I was able to get away from work for a long "lunch" and skate. I decided to go to Plata Arroyo instead of Sunnyvale. It was fun. I saw a young guy I met at Sunnyvale, Jeremey. He remebered me, but thought I was Tony. Because Tony is more than 10 years younger than I am, and at least 10X better at skating than I am, the mistake made me happy. Jeremy was still friendly even after I gave him and a much younger kid my lecture about smoking being the moral equivalent of sucking a rich white southern guy's dick!I made a FS grind in the big bowl, where I was terrified the last time. Made some good berts and 360 slides on the steep bank, but couldn't make a 540 slide or 540 spin on the steep. I slammed trying a 1 foot manual that a fellow oldster was nailing. After many aborts, I made a bunch of decent feeling BS 50-50 stalls.It was sunny and it felt just great. Life is good! |
