| 説明 | This is the south gate. The former name was Gate of Great Piety 大孝門, but when the Central Government changed the name of the park from CKS Memorial Hall to Taiwan Democracy Memorial Hall, it also replaced all former gate inscriptions with four characters meaning 'Liberty Square'.Regardless of one's feelings about the name change, they did a horrible job on the inscription in my opinion. Each character looks like a different person wrote it. The first two tilt to the left, and the final two tilt to the right. |
