| 説明 | Jeroen's mother stayed for a week with us during the Christmas period. I picked her up in her car from Almere. The first days we were having a good time with her. She was really enjoying the city, the shopping, the cultural life, the winter walks in nature, etc. She also joined us to my family meeting at my sister's place. But for Jeroen it was just too much to see his mother every day. He could not handle her complaining, her alcohol drinking and emotional behaviour. So after we came back from my sister's place they had a discussion in the car. Jeroen left his house and escaped from his mother. He stayed in my house for the rest of the week. Eva and me had to take care of his mother and she was crying all day. It was not the perfect Christmas atmosphere. |
