| 説明 | Built 1880-81, taking advantage of both the railway station and steamboat pier. Steamboats continued until 1952, with the station closing in 1965. The railway station was re-opened in 1985.The hotel continues, but as a Lochs & Glens coach holiday hotel... Nevertheless, most of the characterful Scots Baronial interiors on the ground floor survive.Sadly, as a coach hotel, the building - in its spectacular location - is largely abandoned during the day. It deserves to be resurrected as a full-service hotel, to be fully enjoyed - ideally by those arriving by train! |
