| 説明 | We don't see short-eared owls at Seedskadee NWR often, but in some years a number of them may spend the winter with us, when meadow voles are abundant. Short-eared owls are one of the few owl species that actively hunt during the day. During the winter, they seem to be most active at dawn and dusk.
