| 説明 | This paper birds were photographed in Hiroshima Child Memorial Park. The story began in 1954 when a child called Sadako got sick because of the Atomic Bomb launched years before. She was just 9. Because she was at the hospital -she was diagnosed leuchemia- and she had nothing to do, she spent her time walking down the Hospital corridors. There she heard the story about if a person were able to make a thousand paper birds, then a desire should get real. She started to make paper birds in order to desire not to die of leuchemia. She was determined to accomplish the task, but in a post-war period she was slowed because the lack of paper. 8 months before she had started, with 644 paper birds done, she died. From that day on, paper birds are taken there to conmemorate Sadako, and the post-Abomb effects.Más pajaritas. |
