| 説明 | Fossiliferous limestone with crinoid stem (= large whitish structure) from the Pennsylvanian of eastern Ohio, USA.This is from the Putnam Hill Limestone, a relatively thin stratigraphic interval in the Pennsylvanian of eastern Ohio, USA. The unit consists of marine fossiliferous limestones dominated by brachiopods, fusulinid foraminifera, phylloidal algae, crinoid stems, and echinoid spines. The type locality is a roadcut on the northern side of Putnam Hill in the town of Zanesville, Ohio.Stratigraphy: Putnam Hill Limestone, lower Allegheny Group, Desmoinesian, upper Middle PennsylvanianLocality: block in creekside waste rock pile derived from outcrop above an old Tionesta Clay mine along the high southern side of Blunt Run, ~0.5 to 0.75 kilometers northwest of the Friendly Hills Road bridge (County Highway 418 bridge), just west of the Muskingum River, eastern Muskingum Township, northern Muskingum County, eastern Ohio, USA |
