Nice to fold, I found it easier as the square variant, because there's more space to open the pleats of neighbouring twist to make the smaller hexagon twist. (Did not pretwist all molecule as Dirk suggests for mere idleness.)Since I used the same kind of paper as him and was sure that my fold will be not as tidy as his, so I coloured the paper and (first try) treated is with oil.The oil had only a slight effect on the paper, which I assumed. It's sandwich paper and the german Butterbrotpapier states it even more clearly: meant to be wrapped around oily or greasy stuff. Nonetheless it got a bit more translucent and glossy. |
