Overwhelmed, politically and emotionally, Europe’s political leadership is struggling to find an effective response to the hundreds of thousands of people fleeing North Africa and the Middle East.So what can really be done by the EU institutions (Commission, Parliament, specialized agencies) and by the member states with the more than one million immigrants and refugees who have already arrived this year in EU states?Euranet Plus and Radio România, public service, the Romanian Euranet Plus member, discussed the crisis in a bilingual debate moderated by journalist Luoana Plesea of Radio România (in Romanian) and Brian Maguire of the Euranet Plus News Agency in Brussels (in English).
