| 説明 | Erika and I left with the first bunch on the 5am flight out of Minot. I pulled an all-nighter from Wednesday, the 8th, to Thursday, the 9th, as I frantically finished and submitted some homework for a university class I am taking this summer.We had stops in Minneapolis, Detroit (where I had the great tuna you see in the picture), Amsterdam, and finally Vienna. We lost more than a day to travel, arriving in Vienna at 10am local time on Friday, the 10th.Our group had no delays and everyone found all of their luggage on the conveyor. We met Kelly, Bobbi, and Ulli who led us into the city. Kelly and Bobbi were the company reps from Gateway Travel, our tour company, who were along to make sure everything went smoothly. Ulli, along with Gigi who we would meet the next day, was one of our translators and tour guides.We couldn't check into our hotels yet when we first arrived, so we were dropped in the city center of Vienna with a couple of tips on sites to see and instructions to find lunch on our own, then meet back to go to the hotel. |
