| 説明 | Unlike the true southern chiggers which burrow into your skin to lay eggs these northern chiggers are actually tick larvae. They're just about microscopic in size, and you don't know they've bitten until you see the marks. These went right through my socks on a mountain bike ride. They will itch like heck for several weeks. Not a very cool photo, but sometimes I just can't think of what to photograph. |
