| 説明 | Part holiday card, part “death star” homage, this year’s collection of kid pics was initially inspired by zero g's popular "Star Wars" collage.I started out messing around with some of last year's pics and pulling groups of them together. I didn't want the resolution to be limiting and before long had stitched together about 150 images in a huge 6x6 mosaic using about active 75 layers. (No offense intended to the friends/family diminished and/or skewed near the edges of the sphere.)The ultraviolet image of the Sun comes from the TRACE Observatory. The Earth was downloaded from NASA’s spectacular Blue Marble mosaic. The sphere effect results from a simple Adobe CS3/photoshop filter. |
