| 説明 | We had a wind storm. Old trees have fallen all over the city. Some were even uprooted. My power has been out for about 24 hours now and is showing no signs of coming back on soon. At one point, 400,000 homes were without power. I'd guess that less than half are back on now but I don't know. Traffic lights are still out all over the city and people are just treating every intersection like a 4-way stop.You know what I've learned from this? It just isn't so bad. Ok, I had a cold shower this morning, and had to wait a bit for my morning coffee. I had to bring in my electronic toys to the office to charge. I brought an extra insulin pen along in case access to my home gets restricted. Whatever. We have it pretty easy in Canada. |
