The lecture is about a passion for narrating places through contemporary interventions taking the form of rehabilitation or adaptive reuse, interpretation and presentation, and other practices within various sites in Jordan including Amman, Ajlun, Salt, Madaba. This lecture is about the present, as much as it is about the past. It is about the intangible, as much as it is about architecture and the physical heritage. It is about the narrator, as much as it is about the narrative. And finally, this lecture is about subjugated realities and granting voice to the marginalized, as much as it is about the "official" past.
