| 説明 | One of the less-common aspects of life for foreigners living in Japan is the hiring of domestic help for working couples, or for other reasons. While this is quite commonplace for expats in Vietnam, Indonesia, The Philipines, and China--it isn't in Japan. Typically such household assistants are women from the Philipines, in their late 30's to early 40's, according to these flyers.This leads me to believe there would be some overlap with the very robust 'snack girl' industry.
