説明 | "Foulers mother & sister is down here. I thought it would be a good opportunity to send my pistol up. You can send it down again with Wolfe. He comes down every morning on the train. Give my respects to Bill Peyton and Tom and all the rest of the boys. I am just going to write to Henry Smith at Fedral Hill. I thought to get down to Baltimore on the corporals guard but they come in on the next train just as we were getting up in the cars. No more at Present Riddell Put the pistol in a cigar box with some tobacco"From the George Riddell Collection (COLL/2009) at the Archives Branch, Marine Corps History Division OFFICIAL USMC PHOTOGRAPH |
