| 説明 | How I changed a crew-neck t-shirt into a built-by-wendyesque stretchy boatneck.1. Mark a line from the base of the original collar to about 2 inches from the armhole seam.2. Cut through both layers of fabric.3. Fold over about 1/2-inch, pin, iron, fold over another 1/2-inch, re-pin, iron, sew, leaving an opening for threading elastic. (This is way fussier than I usually am, but the fabric didn't like to stay put and pinning was the only option that worked for me)4. The finished new neckline, with elastic threaded and new tag applied. I need the tag to keep me from wearing it backwards ;-)Blogged here. |
