説明 | "...on our side. We look with interest for the next news from the North. The last was anything but encouraging. Tis an old saying the darkest hour is just before day and I hope it may be so in our case. I was fearful that Sammy might have met some disaster at Fredericksburg but I cannot find his name among them. I do wish this was over for it gives me a great deal of uneasiness.
