| 説明 | Rima had a full time job in Dhaka, Bangladesh - but when it came to having her baby, her employers wouldn't give her the maternity leave she was due.That was until she got in touch with Awaj Foundation. They organised an ultrasound and doctor's report, as well as helping her get together the legal documents needed to apply for her maternity leave.Not only did she win her own battle, with 16 weeks full pay and benefits, but she also won the right to maternity leave for the rest of her female colleagues at the factory where she works."It’s not so easy to get rights" she says. "First you have to know your rights before claiming any rights."BackgroundAwaj, which means “voice” in Bangla, is a foundation that has over 37,000 members and 37 full-time staff.
