John Miller, commander, U.S. Naval Forces Central Command, gives the opening remarks during a change of command ceremony for Carrier Strike Group 12 (CCSG 12) in the hangar bay aboard the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71). Rear Adm. Andrew Lewis was relieved by Rear Adm. Roy J. Kelley as commander, Carrier Strike Group 12. Theodore Roosevelt is deployed in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations supporting Operation Inherent Resolve, strike operations in Iraq and Syria as directed, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the region.
