| 説明 | This is the result of a dig in the archive prompted by a pic posted by Dianne White. We were driving to the Athabasca Glacier and stopped at a suitable point to grab a less than perfect shot of clouds flowing down hill. The flow is driven by Katabatic winds, the ground is cold & as the air above it cools it becomes more dense & flows down hill, bringing clouds with it. As the air/clouds descend they warm & the clouds evaporate. Thus creating a constant 'waterfall' of cloud. |
